Hello All! Happy New Academic Year 2023 – 2024 !
Calvary Learning Center (CLC) has started it’s second year in existence with this 2023- 2024 academic year. Yeeaaaa!
We are very excited as more children have registered than we had for all of last academic year (19 children). With the volatility on the ground, some parents have not registered their children in school. However, we are hopeful they will do so before the end of October 2023 so the children will be able to catchup for this first semester.
CLC is very focused on giving the children quality education. This summer CLC gave free summer classes with free breakfast and saw a large number of children attend.
Looking forward: We are hopeful we will find land to build a school campus from nursery to high school soon. While giving the children quality education at our current school built with plank wood, we lack the resources to teach a lot of practical application a key frame work for Kola Nut Tree Services schools. We are looking for sponsors and donors to help us achieve this vision. Please considering sponsoring this project or donating.
It’s joy to see this kids light up as they learn, especially those that have been out of school due to the ongoing war. It’s a challenge to some of them to write with a pencil or pen as the war has kept them away from learning for more than six years now; but gratefully we have experienced teachers excited to teach these children.
